Houston attorney Jana Fay Bacarisse

Probate, Estate Planning and Guardianship Lawyer

Personal note from Jana Fay Bacarisse:

I have served as an attorney for individuals, families, and fiduciaries in estate planning, probate, guardianship and elder law. I believe one of my strengths is the ability to take complicated estate planning and explain the issues and document provisions in simple terms.  Probate and estate planning are personal matters and I give my clients detailed attention, communication and confidentiality that is needed during the process.  I seek to help my clients solve difficult issues. I enjoy working with my clients to help plan for their families, work through the loss of loved ones while providing competent legal advice.  I  am a native Houstonian, graduate of Baylor University and South Texas College of Law, and  have been a licensed attorney since 1990.

Personal service, excellence and reasonable legal fees are hallmarks of working with me.  I provide an up front agreement for legal fees and a complimentary consultation, which gives me and the potential client a time to see if we want to work together and if representation is a good fit.

I am a member of the Houston Bar Association Probate and Trusts Section, the State Bar of Texas Probate, Trusts and Estates Section and the Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association. I provide pro bono estate planning for active duty military and Veterans when I am able to do so, on a as needed basis.

If you need assistance with estate planning, probate, guardianship or elder law, please call my office and I will be glad to talk with you to see if I can assist you. For quick reference, my office line is 713-623-1029 or you may contact me  by email through this website.
